this locomotive was delivered new to the British Steel Corporations’s Beaumont fluorspar mine at Allenheads, Northumberland. In March 1983, it moved to the West Blackdene Mine, County Durham, and then to the Frasers Grove complex at Rookhope in September 1988. It returned to Blackdene temporarily in 1989 for repairs to flood damage. After the mine at Frasers Grove closed, the loco moved to Threlkeld, Cumbria in may 2004. It arrived at Apedale on 16/6/2011.
