26 ”Twusk” HE 6018/1961

This loco was new to the Thames Water Authority at their Hogsmill Valley Sewage Treatment Works Kingston upon Thames. This was the last Hudson Hunslet to have an Ailsa Craig engine. It worked there until December 1975, when it was purchased for preservation and moved to the now defunct Brockham museum. July 1978 saw another move, to the Gloddfa Ganol museum near Blaneau Ffestiniog, where it was displayed until that museum closed. On 9/3/1998, it and several other locos joined the Moseley collection. It gained brief fame when it became the first ex-Gloddfa Ganol loco to run in new ownership.
